Dear Residents and Business Owners,
We are writing to inform you of a concerning rise in parcel theft incidents targeting apartment blocks in the area. Opportunistic thieves have been using deceptive tactics to gain access to buildings. Common methods include: Tailgating residents as they enter the building. Posing as delivery drivers via the intercom system, requesting access under the pretence of delivering parcels. Once inside, these individuals proceed to steal parcels left in communal areas or near apartment doors. We urge all residents and businesses to remain vigilant and take the following precautions:
Avoid granting access via intercom unless you are certain of the caller’s identity. Collect parcels promptly and consider using secure parcel lockers or delivery services with tracking and signature requirements (Some local shops facilitates drop off parcels and you can pick your parcels from there). Report suspicious activity immediately to building management or local authorities. Your cooperation is essential in helping us maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone.
